AFRAA, in partnership with Tunisair held the 6th Aviation Stakeholders Convention in Hammamet, Tunisia from 7-9 May 2017. The Convention’s aim is to foster dialogue between stakeholders in order to build sustainable networks in supply chain management and create a competitive environment for aviation business in the continent. The three-day conference which is being convened under the high patron-age of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tunisia, is being held under the theme “Collaboration for sustainable aviation growth in Africa” and has over 350 registered high profile delegates from 43 countries across the world.
The conference was convened under the high patronage of Honourable Anis Ghedira, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Tunisia.
As part of the conference, there were presentations and panel discussions on trendy subjects in aviation, networking opportunities and one-to-one appointment sessions. In addition to the conference plenary sessions, the following master classes were conducted:
• How African Airlines Can Develop Pricing and Partnership Strategies to Enable Growth by Sabre Airline Solutions
• How merchandising and digital transformation can help airlines in Africa? By Amadeus.
• Initiation to the Safety Management System – SMS by Air Business Consult-ants.

2018 Aviation Stakeholders Convention: The 7th Aviation Stakeholders’ Convention will be kindly co-hosted by Air Tanzania in Zanzibar—Tanzania at a yet to be confirmed date in May 2018.
